The Speakeasy

All you cats & canaries bring your buckets to this ritzy affair!

The Speakeasy

When the Volstead Act passed 96 years ago, it ushered in an era of bootleggers and speakeasies. The Chicago, Detroit, and New York bootleggers may get all the attention (LawlessBoardwalk Empire), but Arizona has a surprising and lively prohibition history that resonates to this day. On Saturday, March 12th, Arizona Hops and Vines will again, celebrate that history with a party nearly 100 years in the making.

Like all good speakeasies, this one will require a password! Go like us on Facebook to find out what it is!

With live music; a vintage car show; and Molls and Macs* dressed for the 20s. Guests dressed in period costume will be automatically entered into a free drawing for wine giveaways. During the Speakeasy, Arizona Hops and Vines will release another in our series of estate wines, a bold Cabernet named after Shannon’s son/migrant worker, Christian.

Beware that some GPS systems and map programs have trouble with our address, so that link points to our latitude/longitude location. We don’t want people wandering all over Southern Arizona instead of having a great time with us.
